Growing and Evolving: Updates to the Phelps Helps Team

We are excited to share some updates on how our team has been growing and evolving to serve the needs of our community. We believe these changes will strengthen our ability to make a positive impact where it matters most.

A Familiar Face Returns as Executive Director

We're excited to announce that Katie Lowry has resumed her role as Executive Director of Phelps Helps. Katie has been a dedicated and passionate advocate for our community for many years, and her return to this leadership position is a true testament to her unwavering commitment. Her vision and dedication will continue to guide us as we tackle the challenges facing the youth of Stanstead. We are also happy to say that Sophie Nagle continues her unfaltering contributions behind the scenes in her role as Advancement and Communications Director.

Fortifying Our Program Teams

We're delighted to announce the expanded roles of two cherished members of the Phelps Helps family. Genevieve Lalande, a dedicated and experienced member of our team, has assumed the position of Educational Programs Manager. In this role, she will provide invaluable support to our various program teams, leveraging her wealth of experience to enhance the impact of our educational initiatives.

Additionally, we're proud to have Josiane Samson take on the role of Elementary Program Coordinator. Josiane's passion for education and her deep understanding of our community make her an excellent choice for this role. Join us in congratulating them on their expanded roles within Phelps Helps. High School Team Dynamics

Jessica Frappied has joined our High School team as a coordinator, working in collaboration with familiar face, Tanya Rhodes. Together, they bring fresh perspectives and energy to our efforts. Their focus is on creating meaningful opportunities for high school students, fostering personal growth, and promoting the success of everyone in their programs. A Stronger Sense of Community

Welcoming Kristy Pyle as our Outreach Coordinator is a significant step forward in our commitment to the community. Kristy will work on further developing our partnerships and expanding our presence in the community. Her responsibilities include overseeing events, managing our dedicated volunteers, promotional assistance, and ensuring our initiatives are seamlessly integrated into the fabric of our community.

Full-Circle Moments

Kaisha Goodsell, a devoted past Phelps participant and now employee has embarked on an exciting journey as the coordinator of our new Youth Club program. Kaisha's deep roots in our community and her steadfast commitment make her the perfect leader to provide a safe, supportive space for our younger members to learn and grow.

We are also thrilled to have been able to hire three more former Phelps Helps youth to assist with our Youth Club: Makayla Chamberlain, Noah Bishop and Joshua MacLeod. Their transition from participants to leaders is a source of immense pride for us, and we're excited to have them inspire our youth to reach their full potential.

Guiding the Way

This past Spring we were thrilled to welcome Sarah MacNeil as the new coordinator of our Compass program. Sarah's background and wealth of experience, as well as her passionate approach to helping the local community, make her an incredible asset for the 14-30 year old participants in this program. Pursuing New Horizons

While change can be bittersweet, we bid a fond farewell to Clea Corman, who has decided to pursue her studies in Public Policy at McGill University. Clea has been an invaluable member of our team, and we wish her nothing but success and fulfillment in this exciting new adventure. Her contributions to our community will be greatly missed.

Invaluable Part of Team

As we continue to grow and evolve, we remain committed to serving our community with the same dedication and passion that has defined Phelps Helps for 10+ years. These changes are aimed at better aligning our resources and efforts to meet the ever-evolving needs of the community we hold so dear. Thank you for being a part of our journey. We look forward to continuing our mission to empower our community through educational and career support, and we invite you to join us in this exciting chapter of growth and transformation at Phelps Helps.

Together, we can create a brighter future for all.
