Academic Programs

Learn about how our programs work

All of our programs are offered free of charge. Phelps Helps offers a range of programming for children, teens and adults in English and French. We serve the municipalities of Stanstead, Stanstead Est, Ogden and Canton de Stanstead, representing 5,146 people.

Runs three evenings per week, September to June. French and English tutors are always on hand for individual support for all high school subjects.

High School Tutoring

Provides English and French students with homework help, physical activity, healthy snacks and a literacy three afternoons per week from September to June.

Elementary Tutoring

Fosters a love of learning through gym play and hands-on S.T.E.A.M activities with elementary school students. It is offered once per month for grades 1 to 6 at the French and English Elementary schools from September to June.
