Egg Hunt Brings Out 50 Children And Their Families

On Saturday April 20th, 50 children and their families came out - despite the rainy weather - to participate in an Easter Egg Hunt at the Colby-Curtis Museum. The egg hunt took place outside and was followed by snacks baked by the museum, games, a raffle and crafts inside the solarium of the museum. Children enjoyed taking photos with the Easter Bunny, listening to stories selected by our Family Literacy coordinator, and receiving books to add to their home collections. This event was a special collaboration between Haskell Free Library, Colby-Curtis Museum and Phelps Helps. Thanks to the help of many volunteers, including some of Phelps’ high school participants, the day went off without a hitch. We can't wait to do it again next year!
