Our traditional 5K race with
a twist
Whether you are running for your fastest time or you and your family want to do the Fun Run, everyone is welcome.
In collaboration with Michael Sudlow, the Phelps Team is excited to welcome back the Stanstead 5K run open to all ages and taking place on May 13, 2023. This year's run will be amped up to include a Fun Run, a BBQ, live music, lawn games and kiosks to celebrate our 10 year anniversary!
This year we will have two ways to run (or walk!):
Race Details
Our traditional 5K course with first, second and third fastest runners for each category (see below) receiving a medal at the prize giving ceremony.

A fun run for all ages! The same course will have 3 fun stations positioned along the way! Runners will be able to run through colour powder, bubbles, boot camp, luau and even a disco party!

Anyone who runs costumed will get a free hotdog at the BBQ!

The course is a flat loop around historic Stanstead streets and the bike path starting and finishing at the Stanstead Town Hall.

Advanced registration is available here or on the day of the event at Sunnyside Elementary with the fee payable in cash only the morning of the race. All proceeds will go towards Phelps’ educational and career support programs.
10 Year Celebration Activities
A full 10 years of Phelps is something to be celebrated and we want the community to be part of it! Stanstead unite :)
It's more than a race! It is a day of celebrating Phelps, Stanstead youth and showcasing local organisations and initiatives. The day will include:

BBQ and Refreshments
From 11 am onwards, refreshments and a BBQ will be available. As a reminder, anyone who comes in costume will get a free hot dog!

Lawn games hosted by a local school
From 11 am onwards, we will have games such as an obstacle course relay and a tug of war! We will also have activities for our younger participants!

Live Music
Local band Brink & Co. will be playing from 11-1 pm!
