Our Programs

All of our programs are offered free of charge. Phelps Helps offers a range of programming for children, teens and adults in English and French. We serve the municipalities of Stanstead, Stanstead Est, Ogden and Canton de Stanstead, representing 5,146 people.

The High School Tutoring Program runs three evenings per week, September to June. French and English tutors are always on hand for individual support for all high school subjects. Click here for more information about this program


The Elementary Tutoring Program provides English and French students with homework help, physical activity, healthy snacks and a literacy lesson once per week from September to June. Click here for more information about this program.


The Spark Program fosters a love of learning through gym play and hands-on S.T.E.A.M activities with elementary school students. It is offered once per week at the French and English Elementary schools from September to June. Click here for more information about this program.


The Compass Program provides individual support to those looking to apply for postsecondary education, searching for employment or wishing to complete their high school education. Click here for more information about this program.


The Mentoring Program pairs elementary students with high school students for fun activities in the community. The focus of this program is building confidence for the mentee’s transition from elementary to high school and fosters early leadership skills in our mentors. Click here for more information about this program.


The Summer Program provides local youth with a first employment experience and guides elementary students in their transition to high school. This S.T.E.A.M-themed summer camp runs every August and works on the development of leadership skills and bilingualism. Click here for more information about this program.
