office hours

Phelps Helps will maintain office hours, from 9 am to 2 pm Monday to Friday.  Phelps team members will remain available by appointment. To schedule an appointment please contact us during business hours. 

 

programs

Spark

  • Weekly Spark Packages will continue to be sent home through the schools, every Thursday.
  • A complimentary explanation video will be posted to the online platforms, in addition to being emailed to parents.
  • Unfortunately we will not be able to accept any new registrations for Spark at this time.

Elementary Tutoring

  • Starting the week of March 15th, Elementary Tutoring will be held at the Phelps location, with different days for each class, respecting the current student bubbles:
    • Monday: Grade 5 - Sunnyside
    • Tuesday: Grade 5 - Jardin-des-Frontières (Amélie) 15h12 à 16h30
    • Wednesday: Grade 5/6 - Jardin-des-Frontières (Sophie) 15h12 à 16h30
    • Thursday: Grade 6 - Jardin-des-Frontières (Manon) 15h12 à 16h30
  • Program coordinators will meet students at the school and walk them to Phelps Helps (272 rue Dufferin).
  • At the end of the session, Students are to be picked up by a parent at Phelps.
  • All parents must sign the new permission slip before students can attend the sessions at Phelps.

High School

  • Online Tutoring will be available for students from 5:30 pm to 7 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. 
  • Individual online sessions outside those times can be scheduled with the program coordinator the week before.
  • Study spaces will be open to students from 1 pm to 7 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays. A quiet place to do homework or attend online classes. Spaces can be booked a day in advance by contacting the program coordinator.

Compass/Youth Engagement and Outreach

  • One-on-one meetings can be held online or in-person. 
  • Referrals to community services based on availability of services.
